need to clear my head. too much on my mind. im tired as HELL. i like the lifestyle. alot. joe and petes journal entries make me smile. methinks i had a pretty good day, with the exception of

half falling asleep in bio.
the second period math test.
getting kicked out of the bed at the nurses office by that kid yannic or w/e that needs his ass cleaned every few hours. i despise him for always doing that to me.
french.
studying for the chem test tomorrow.

life is good as of now... i got a 97/100 = 7 on my history IDs. i guess the hard work paid off. if i had gotten a 6 i think i wouldve shot dutti. i was seriously contemplating slapping him if i got a 5. today was the seniors last day at school (they still have exams and one or two weeks for studying)...lucky bastards. .

tomorrow is SOCO! -dies- and whats better than having a SORE THROAT, bruised legs, and headache to go along with that? nothing.

i forgot so much in the punchline concert review. excerpts from aisha lj entry that she somehow did between swooning over pete, groping her ben jelen poster, and gazing at her new green iPod mini. i jest, i jest. kinda. anyway:

the concert was amazing, we were RIGHT IN FRONT tho, and there werent any barriers so we kept getting thrown on stage. not that im complaining :). ahhh the guys from punchline r so nice. all of them r. lol and after we were talking to one of the guys from hipv and tima was like wow im waiting for an album i keep dling stuff. and he was like THEIF! lol and i started laughing. like hard. and then we were like can we have pics? and he was like hmm does anyone really ever say no? *amusing thoughts* tima jennie and me were shouting through all of punchlines set. afterwards when we were talking to paul he was like 'u guys were realy awesome' :):), and we gave chris his bday present (necco wafers lolol) and he was suprisingly realy realy happy. like he kept hugging us and saying thank you. oo and the lead singer from hipv was amazing. like he would stare you right in the face lean over and shout at u, like if u were shouting back (tima hehe) i wudnt b suprised if u cud get picked up on the mic. it was amazingly close. the goodwill rocked. ahh and i cant get over my punchline babies:) steve rocks my world with his little jig. today after school jennie and me were watching the dvd at nejs house and we got realy happy wen we saw him doing it. paul is the sweetest thing ever and wow once again, chris was incredibly nice. sighs, and allister of course. they were amazing. ahhh and after the set steve took his pic walked right over to jennie and handed her his pic. and she was like 'what' and hesistated to take it. i love her. grr but during allisters set somehow these two terrible obnoxious guys ended up behind us and were causing a rucus everywhere. they kept pushing people and shouting things. at one point on of them jumped on stage. and then tim was like everyone put your hands up. so he stage dived. and it was terrible. then tim was like 'at least do a good stage dive come up here and try it again.' so he did and we didnt catch him. so tima was like 'i said do a good stage dive not kill people.' HA! jennie and me came insanely early so we met these girls there and one of them was in love with kyle. so she grabbed me and we went to talk to him. (she was realy outgoing it was cool) and he was sooo sweet. and during the allister set he kept talking to us and stuff. i really like allister. like its amusing how much. and then tima took a bit over 100 pics lol so she must post ASAP. woo im rambeling sorry lol.. im not usually the one that does 10 page concert reviews, but im sure this is nothing compared to the essay from tima im expecting and jennie 50 page blogger to come.

im neurotic about these types of things...once we have timas review it will all be complete...*manical eye twitches*

im. so. tired. uuugh. aisha and i somehow forgot to pre-order '"My Heart Will Always Be The B-Side To My Tounge" (fob dvd/ep) at 12:01 AM-ish, and instead ordered it via haifa (our savior) at 5-ish PM at neclas. i dont think were getting any poloroids...:'(

today...nice weather. kinda. little chilly but still nice out. i talk about weather alot dont i. :-/ french, chinese, math BLAH. i more or less gooffed off during my frees, working only a bit on my CHEM. the library was fun too...haha maria turning the hortensia bookmark into a more womanly man that the transvestite it was. blah blah afterschool aisha and i went to neclas and watch the punchline DVD twice over while spazzing about punchline and our bum-ness for forgetting the pre-order/. how cool would it be to go the punchline show in long island (via the LIRR) and then jet over to the soco/yv show?

speaking of YC. theyre gonna be on imx tomorrow but i have to study for a chem test. it would be cool to see them. yeah..very spacey entry. more later?

so the big news... we have been confirmed to be on the cover of the August issue of Alternative Press! we are pretty excited. the guys over at AP said we have reader response to thank for this, so thank you! only because you asked for us is this happening. the issue goes on sale in july...

ahh...cept i think pete got the date wrong..apparently its actually the august issue...something like that. either way im really excited. are they "making it?" who knows. note to maria: pete also has lovely music taste. he was at a H.I.M. show recently. :)

the weather is crap. oy. today was a blah day. i dont feel like talking about it. i dont know-- everything around me seemed to be going in slow motion and as if i were on the outside looking in. if that makes any sense. i had random urges to burst out laughing in a horrendously obnoxious fashion but held it all in. major mood swings not?

i left a CRAP ASS game of softball with that stupid bitch ms galvez to go help out with the college fair. they sent me downstairs with haifa, jenny, and a few other ppl to lead college reps up to their rooms (lol almost wrote tomb...). they told us after almost an hour and a half that we didnt have to bring them to the college office and their rooms, we just had to lead them to the elevators. WHAT??!! mofos. we made up random games of rock-paper-scissors to decide who was leading what rep up to their room, and it was just so much fun. i think i would definantely do this next year if i could...but ill actually be DOING it. the rep from boston university was so cute. oh my god. i got to bring him to the elevators and in that time period he told me he was 27 (i told him "dont u look a little young to be doing this...?"), graduated in 1999, something about shaving. it was lovely. he reminded me of prince william. :P jenny and i freaked when the rep for columbia came...we both ended up escorting him to the elevator and it was the funniest thing in my life. that and the signals the three of us made up to sign for yale, harvard, and columbia. so, juniors from 3 or 4 other private schools came...lovely ppl some of them...hung out with misha and jenny after being kicked out of the cafeteria by ms niuwenhaus. how crap ass is it that we didnt get to have any food? we took some anyway. i saw a really cute chinese guy when leaving; that just doesnt happen very often...a milestone, really. then i went home.

yesterday: punchline! ahh. i got out of my piano lesson and got to the continental at 1-ish (two hours early). i went to 23rd and 3rd on the bus to meet aisha and return to the continental. we conversed with these three girls joanna, jackie, and lucy for a while we waited and before tima came. joanna was telling us about how "at the brand new show the pit got so bad that jesse had to stop the show and he was like 'get all the girls out NOW'" aww.. i think the goodwill were the first van + trailer to pull up. then hidden in plain views van and trailer. when drummer boy came out jackie and i died. she was spazzing about the guitarist kyle but i really didnt know who that was. it was all about the drummer...so then allister pulled up and aisha and i kept trying to figure out if this guy was scott or not. on the line which we got kicked out of several times, there was this guy named dylan who jackie knew or something and i think was part of socratic. not sure...but anyway he was ..interesting. WE SAW GAY-PETE! he lives! i freaked and shrieked "ITSGAYPETE!" (gay pete is this guy who we always thought was petes twin gay brother at all the shows but sadly was not at the last) hes so small and works at the continental...? and of course steve came cuz thats just what steve does. jackie and co. called him sugarcult steve but we call him concert steve. hmm ok. so he came over and chatted with us for a bit, and after half an hour we got let in.

we all plopped down on the stage and the place filled up. the goodwill was up first...crazy guitarist. he was all over the place. it was weird cuz our faces were at crotch level and it was a little odd but fun nonetheless. it was funny having a kinda gyrating crotch in ur face while ur singing along lol.

punchline was up next, and tima and i swooned as our beloved steve paul chris and pj setted up. we sed hi to pj and he was like 'i just woke up..' hah. paul looked a bit under the weather and it was sad seeing him kinda mope while setting up wires. but later on in the set, he lightened up and he and steve started laughing and joking and stuff. usually chris is in the middle but this time steve was...but it was awesome cuz u kno how we love steve..so they set up and started playing. <3 the setlist:

and yeah i think thats about it. of course we were screaming all the words and swooning at steve and paul and co. at the same time. steve apologized for being late: "sorry we were late coming in...it was your damn city traffic!" something along those lines. you all know how i tend to misquote for my own convienience. they were AWESOME overall. we went insane when chris annouced that they were coming back on june 16 with fall out boy. i almost died. my head felt so light....and being a psycho spazz i got my tickets that night.

after the finished, they were packing up and we were chatting amongst ourselves about how fun that just was. then steve came over and tapped my hand. i turned around and he dropped his yellow pick into my hand and grinned. whhhaaattt..i smiled like a crackhead and said thanks while staring at the pick in semi-disbelief. AWESOME. steve i love you.

the hidden in plain view drummer came on the stage to set up his drums and i think i couldve died happy right there. it was sick how tima and i just oogled...and oogled. he was beautiful. i would make up some metaphor about skill and banging drums but i know itll just end up even more pathetic. :-/ everyone came onstage...and the singer was SO CLOSE TO ME. like i couldve just given him a kiss or something. i was pissed i didnt know the words to any songs but shaman witch w.e. bleh. he was a really good front man...like jason vena as a massively hairy beast. my shallow statement of the day. he sang into timas face. it was brilliant. again, crotch in face. cant complain, they did a really awesome set. gotta stop usuing that word.

allister took FOREVER TO SET UP. -dies- goddamn ur faulty drums!! after like 20-25 mins they started. i think my favorite songs were 'somewhere in fullerton' 'overrated' and 'flypaper'. my legs actually are now fully bruises and cramped cuz we were pressed so hard against the stage by the crowd. and also running around during college fair. PAIN PAIN PAIN! lol we were half on the stage at a few points and scott almost stepped on us. kyle sang into timas face during one song and mouthed 'i dont know the words!' later on when we met him i brought that up and sed i yelled back 'neither do i!' and he laughed...it was sad. tima and i love to hate allister. and hate to love them. oy. by the end, i was completely covered in scotts spit and sweat. and prolly the spit and sweat of all the bands.

aftershow. sed hi to drummer boy but forgot picture. as stupid as not getting picture with jason vena. bullocks. found steve and chatted with him for a bit and got pictures. thanked him for the pick and he was like 'yeah cool ur welcome...' and i died. found paul who was obviously in a better mood. tima sed something about us being at the merch booth at irivng and it was just him and he was sad cuz he was alone...and i sed shut up how do u think he cud remember that?! and he was like 'actually..i do...' ahh. and he was lovely and we got pictures. proceeded to give chris his bday present.

me: hi chris! uh it was ur bday yesterday right...
chris: yeah!
me: so we got u a present...
chris: no u didnt...! [eyes kinda pop like hes shocked'

we got him necco wafers cuz thats wat he wrote on the website and he was like 'ahh! necco wafers! i love these!'

aisha: we know...lol.

and chris proceeded to give me, tima, and aisha impulsive hugs. so we wished him happy bday again, and tima and aisha bought merch. and i talked to scott. no more free allister posters with pre-ordered ticket=ass. kyle is really cool and really nice. we wanted a picture/signing of the ticket with one of the guitarists from hipv...but he was with his gf and it would be kinda awkward so we didnt try. went outside, hung out and chatted with hipv guitarist. aka the lovechild of soco andrew and fob patrick. i told him that and he sed 'ill take that as a compliment cuz theyre both great guys.' and we chatted more then left/ awesome concert.

i love punchline so much its sick. i might die of hapiness at the fob and punchline concert.

i was forced to get up at 1 cuz my brothers friends were coming over. i tried to reason (half awake) with my dad and brother about covering my head with my blanket so they wont see me, or sleep in my brothers bed (no they might come in), or my mothers bed (dad: no im going to be working in it). but alas i was forced to eat breakfast and all that stuff. i hate his friends.

drained. completely dead. my eyes are already half closed. ugh. the second period of double bio was replaced with a concert by the traveling music kids from st. andrews catholic school for AUSTRALIA. of course the fact they were aussies made it even more fun. i actually really liked their performance. tima and i liked the drummers. i liked the one with dark semi gelled hair and she liked the one with dyed red hair. sighs. -swoon- english killed me. boring boring boring. history we went to the library...and jenny and i made endless fun of our powerpoint topic (the scopes/monkey trial). then aussies came. and i melted. it was sad. haifa and i were pathetic. i almost spazzed when i turned around and saw drummer boy. i started sputtering and avoiding eye contact and staring every now and then. jenny liked him too. im such a spazz. ahhh/ sat otuside and froze. watch aussies leave. leave! save yourself from the hellhole i call my school!! i thnk i need to visit australia. music seminar put me to sleep, as did math. chinese was slightly amusing. i kicked tim for 'subtly' calling me fat. mofo. i know i am but come on now, dont remind me. afterschool, tima, haifa, and i hung outside fo school as we waited for aisha to come down with her bass. tima, aisha and i went into her car, and haifa, necla, and claire went in haifas car to the studio for tima/aisha/haifa/claires band practice. the first thing we smelled was pot pouring out of another room. the room we were in was one of the biggest and stunk a bit like locker rooms at ski places. band practice was fun and they sounded realyl good (apparently compared to last time). necla and i were deterred from going to the nicer bathrooms by a freaky rapist rocker who haunted the vending machines. wen haifa and i were waiting for everyone else to pay, these two guys passed by to go to the balcony for a smoke. and as soon as they were out...haifa and i spazzed. i thik we should go back. :) went to baskin robbins and borders. on the way home in the car, somehow tima and i went head to head against haifa and aisha in this singing at the top of our lungs contest. the goal was to out sing the other ppl...and tima and i won 3-1. HAH! lol duinrg where is ur boy aisha called a time out cuz she knew shes start singing alone. went home. punchline on sunday. boys suck.

also, im pissed as hell at my mom. my brother started crying cuz i stole a grape from him to piss him off. wtf? hes a pussy. anyway, so my mom decided tonight i get one hour online. lol dude im going back on later on tonight.

one more day...and then the weekend. i cant believe im still functioning. i actually began falling asleep and spacing out during english cuz we read (in a really dull manner) an act of othello, which you just cant do first period. UGH. chemistry must die. die die. i got really mad at ledenev in math cuz hes freaking deaf. he wanted me to add two numbers in the GP, and i gave him the right answer before then put my head down again. since he hates me, he didnt make any effort to listen and was like "WHAT??" really loudly and obnoxiously. i didnt know why he did that cuz i was half dead and was like 'huhwhat?' and then ledenev went on about how i couldnt add or something. douchebag. lunch spent outside. at this rate i should look less pasty in a week or so. chinese and french were a blur. after school...i hung out with tima around the plaza cuz we were both slow and lazy and the humidity was getting to us. did hw. passed out on couch when i got home and thus missed the spring concert/social hour thing. i was feeling anti-social. i dont like 'friends' right now. i love will and grace and SCRUBS <-- why did they move it to tuesdays?? my lovely thursday night line up was perfect.

one week till soco. three days till punchline. i think im going to puke from happiness.

the weather is crap. i have nothing much to say. i had a relatively lovely day. aftereschool hung out with tima at unisverse..lol im an honorary editor cuz i edit when i have nothing else to do. uh huh, yeah. smallville was probably the most frustrating thing i have ever had to sit thru. by the end i wanted to stab chloe, clark, and the rest of smallville. i hate them all...bah why must they all be stupid and lame. im linkage-happy right now, and ive put 'sappy hour' on my away msg. lame play on 'happy hour'.

On Dec. 2, Americans will get their first new nightly news anchor in more than 20 years. That'll be Brian Williams' first day on the job at ''NBC Nightly News,'' the top-rated among the three network evening newscasts. Variety reports that Tom Brokaw, the show's anchor since 1983, has told NBC brass that he will deliver his final newscast on Dec. 1.

Brokaw, 64, said two years ago that he'd retire after the 2004 elections but had not specified exactly when. NBC had been grooming successor Williams, 45, for a decade, giving him anchor gigs on sister channels CNBC and MSNBC. Brokaw's rivals -- Peter Jennings at ABC and Dan Rather at CBS, who've also been in their anchor chairs for more than two decades -- may enjoy a temporary ratings bounce after Brokaw leaves, but both of them are also expected to retire in the next couple of years.

Brokaw has also said that, even after he leaves his post, he'll still be sticking around NBC News to make specials. As he said two years ago, his retirement from the anchor chair ''doesn't mean I'm going to sit in the Anchorman's Rest Home and take soft food.'

all the pretty pretty kids with their tired tired eyes

flipside festival- saw amazing bands. met up with old friends. ate bad pizza. saw some really good bands. the show was on the brink of being a disaster. nothing worked- except the kids. thank you for singing and dancing with us.

skate and surf- the problem with shows in new jersey is every one is so great, we are always sure the next won't be able to live up to it. we missed you. saw so many old friends and bands we've toured with. every moment was a highlight for me. someone pulled the fire alarm so we were nervous cause we were playing later than expected. but it made me feel better seeing all the smiling faces. seriously i don't know when the last time was we played such a great show. everyone in that room wanted to be there and it makes me feel dizzy to look out and see kids singing along as far back as i can see. i heard that the room got so full that some kids weren't able to see us, i apologize. i am glad i got to talk to so many people.

i just did a huge one of those fill-out survey things and it got deleted by fcking blogger. im really worried for my dad because his finger got infected and he needs tests to see if it infected the bone...if it did hes fucked. they might have to do massive surgery. and if things havent been worse, my brother might have an infected finger as wlel cuz the two of them cut their nails too close to the base.

good news, tho: i 'hacked' into my moms aol account and changed my web browsing to 100% so now i can go to everything and she wont know cuz she doesnt know how to use it and it still reads 'mature teen' i rock.
