mmm so i watched 4 or so hours of the Olympic opening ceremonies in Athens...it made me really really happy for some reason. like i almost melted.
point one. i like swimmers. i.e. ian thorpe (i forgot about him for a while...) and michael phelps. bless those commercials. neither of them showed up at the ceremony cuz they were resting i think...theyre both competing tomorrow.
ohboy when the winter olympics come round marf and i will be ga-ga over speed skaters again :-/
point two. what the FUCK were the producers on when they decided to have bjork sing and then have parts of her dress that looked like a map of the world almost suffocate the athletes!?
anyway. you know its bad when you spend 20 minutes trying to scour your house for coffee mate and when you cant find it you cant drink your tea.
