Acceptance show that almost wasn't:

Maria and I get to the obscure hole-in-the-wall Tribeca Rock Club and the bouncer who looks like Sawyer from Lost but more agreeable says "It's sold out." Jen's jaw drops.

Talk to both JasonVena and Christian and both say they'll try and get us in. Jason talks to the bouncer for a few minutes and starts waving his arms a bit and pointing to us but the bouncer remains a dick.

Aisha, Tima, and her Mathieu boytoy and his Brazilian friends come. Jen gets delirious and Maria goes for coffee. Aisha has had no sleep, and begins to rap a bit.

Lovedrug and As Tall As Lions (or some other band) play their sets and we become increasingly delirious and intolerant to the cold since we're all unintentionally dressed up like scenewhores cuz its warm outside.

Suddenly, a woman emerges holding 4 golden tickets.

Maria and I make a desperate grab and get them. My jaw seriously dropped and my eyes grew wide in disbelief. I tried to get Aisha in too but it didn't work out.

Moshed my way up front (Maria kept on getting kicked by ppl lol), had a blast and went picture happy. Jason had a little rambling session about how someone onstage will ask something and the audience will go "Whoooo!" lol

Jason gave me the setlist, and both he and Christian were like "HOW did you get in?!" But it was hot stuff.

Pictures ensued. So lovely, so lovely. Jason is so lovely. Mumble mumble.

Ate at XO. Then went to Irving to check up on FOB tickets and got mocked by Steve lol, but Maria liked that. Went home, my mom is being a serious bitch about doing HW right now. Ugh.
